Tenure-Track Position in Veterinary Immunology - Faculty of Veterinary Medicine
The Centre for Prions and Protein Folding Diseases at the University of Alberta is inviting applications for a research associate to serve as the research manager for the enhanced level 2 (BSL2+) prion containment laboratories. The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and executing scrapie cell assays, coordinating and overseeing research within the BSL2+ suites as well as training students and other users of the communal research facilities. We are looking for an individual with a PhD in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry or the equivalent with experience in tissue culture and/or experience in enhanced containment laboratories.
